Identifying bed bugs

Do bed bugs live outside?

Bed bugs normally live indoors as they prefer to stay close to their food source which is human blood. However, they may occasionally also live outdoors in areas where people go frequently such as in cars or tents. Bed bugs prefer warm hiding places but outdoor temperatures do not harm them. Only temperatures above 60C (140F) kill bed bugs reliably.
